Barley Brown's offers outstanding microbrews,too, including their Gold Medal-winning Tumble Off Pale Ale. Delicious! Don't miss visiting Baker City's only Microbrewery. It's one of our favorite places in Baker. El Erradero Open 11am to 9pm, 7-days Traditional Mexican food served up in large portions. Known for their spicy salsa and house margaritas (Be careful! They're potent!), El Erradero is Baker City's most popular Mexican restaurant. Be sure to save room for the deep-fried icecream! Mad Matilda's Coffee House Open 7am to 2pm, Monday - Saturday Located in downtown Baker, only two short blocks from your vacation home, this is the place to go for your morning coffee specialties. Mad Matilda's offers a full espresso bar, a lite breakfast menu, and delicious sandwiches and salads for lunch. Be sure to stop next door at Sane Jane's to do some shopping! Inland Cafe Open 6am to 8pm, 7-days Hearty home-cookin', and enormous portions! Breakfast is served all day, including giant pancakes or waffles, 4-egg omelets, and home-backed cinnamon rolls. The lunch and dinner menu offers down-home menu items like meat loaf, steak and potatoes, and beef stews. Try the homemade bread pudding for dessert! Haines Steakhouse hours vary, closed on Tuesdays Located in the "Biggest Little City in Oregon", the Haines Steakhouse is named after their juicy, homegrown steaks that rival some of the best in the world! They also offer chicken and seafood dishes, as well as an enormous salad bar. It's well worth the short drive from Baker. |
